300 De Haro is coming soon! This innovative project is bringing beautiful design and thoughtful amenities to San Francisco’s missing middle.
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Potrero Hill, 300 De Haro will feature 425 fully furnished and unfurnished studio units, designed for individuals and families earning between 30% and 70% of the area median income ($41k-$95k). Residents will enjoy an abundance of outdoor green space, a rooftop lounge with stunning views, and a diverse array of amenities focused on promoting well-being and a sense of community.
Originally approved in 2020, 300 De Haro was the first project in San Francisco to leverage SB-35 to streamline the approval process. San Francisco-based DM Development continues to stay true to its mission: to create groundbreaking properties with striking architectural design and amenities that enhance and uplift the neighborhoods which it calls home. DM Development is excited to be partnering with MRK Partners, a leader in affordable housing nationwide, to create homes that are both beautiful and affordable by design.
300 De Haro will offer a wide range of resident amenities and benefits designed to create community and a sense of comfort and belonging.

State-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment with separate flex space for yoga and meditation

A 7,000-square-foot rear yard configured to provide green space adjacent to much of the building just behind the site
300 De Haro is located in the vibrant Potrero Hill neighborhood in southeastern San Francisco. This area offers excellent access to major highways (US 101/80 and I-280) and public transportation options, including Caltrain, MUNI, and BART. The flat terrain of Potrero Hill makes 300 De Haro highly walkable and bikeable, with many newly added bike lanes. As a bonus, the neighborhood offers some of the most stunning views of the San Francisco skyline and bay.

Yes. The original high-quality, contextual design proposed by award-winning San Francisco-based BAR Architects has remained essentially the same as the original design, including adding a 7,000-square-foot rear yard configured to provide green space adjacent to much of the building just behind the site. The project is now 11 stories, instead of the originally proposed 12 stories, and the unit count has been reduced from 450 units to 425 units.
300 De Haro will offer 425 furnished and unfurnished studio units for rent.
Furnished units include a murphy bed that converts from a sofa and coffee/dining table by day to a queen-sized bed, ensuring convenience and accessibility for residents. Additionally, all units will include a kitchenette, an ensuite bathroom and a work area.
Yes. 300 De Haro, in line with the initial proposal, will feature a range of amenities promoting resident well-being and fostering a sense of community, including a community lounge, co-working space, fitness & wellness center, shared kitchen and roof deck, and onsite car share.
300 De Haro is designed to cater to a diverse range of middle-income earners who have been priced out of San Francisco’s market rate rental market. The units will serve residents earning between 30% and 70% of the area median income, which is about $41k-$95k in today’s dollars. The project is in a transit-friendly neighborhood with proximity to jobs, services, and retail, reducing long commutes and promoting car-free living.
300 De Haro will feature approximately 6,000 square feet of retail space along 16th Street and De Haro Street. The project team has entered into an agreement with the site’s previous retail tenants for both temporary and permanent relocation plans, and we are exploring the possibility of bringing one or more of these tenants back to the site if they desire.
The leasing process is expected to begin in 2027 with initial occupancy anticipated for June 2027. Interested parties are encouraged to fill out our interest list form, and we will follow up with more information as it becomes available.
Construction is set to begin in June 2025, with an anticipated completion date of June 2027.
